What’s the most affordable, LGBTQ+ friendly City in Idaho?
Today, we’re sharing the most affordable, LGBTQ+ friendly city in Idaho. What’s the runner-up for the most affordable, LGBTQ+ friendly city in Idaho?Moscow! Why? Moscow scored 62 on the Human Rights Campaigns Municipal Equality Index, which is the second highest in the state. The home values average $445,000 yearly, coming in the middle for Idaho. Rent averages $1,335 a month for a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, which is the middle for the state. The cost of living is 99.1%, which is also in the middle for Idaho. The average income is $59,000 yearly, slightly below the middle, and the median income is $46,000 annually.
What’s the winner for the most affordable, LGBTQ+ friendly city in Idaho? Boise! Why? Boise scores a 73 on HRC’s MEI. The home values average $473,000 per property, slightly below average for Idaho. Rent averages $1,748 a month, which is just above average for the state. The cost of living is 119.6%, which is the highest. The average income is $81,000 a year and is the second best. Meanwhile, the median income is $54,000 a year and the second best. A suburb of Boise is Meridian, which has the highest average and median income but the lowest HRC MEI at 50.
