What we found out about the best gay city in each state
We just wrapped up our Motley Fool/Debt Free Guys LGBTQ+ Money Study series. We hope you liked it and found the info useful. We’ll continue to reference that data and other data to continue to get a clearer picture of the state of LGBTQ+ money.
But what now?
As many of our listeners are considering retirement, we thought we’d ask a question that comes up regularly when we talk about LGTBTQ+ retirement . . . .
“Where can I live that’s very gay-friendly but also affordable?”
As we said in the intro, super-gay-friend and super-affordable, unfortunately, don’t typically go hand in hand. So, we’re going to try to tackle that question over the next 50+ weeks as we find the most affordable, most gay-friendly city in each state.
These picks will be relative, of course. What’s most affordable in California will be relative to California. What’s most gay-friendly in Mississippi or Alabama will be relative to Mississippi and Alabama.
So, come back each Thursday for this Queer Money® bonus series on the most affordable, most gay-friendly city in each state. To help us get this series to more people, please rate and review the Queer Money podcast on your favorite podcast player.
Then, join us next Tuesday when Tom Brickman of the Frugal and our real estate investing coach share easy tips to get into real estate investing. How he uses Grindr to find good real estate investments will blow your mind. Then, join us next Thursday when we pick the most affordable, most gay-friendly city in Wyoming.
