LGBTQ+ respondents to The Motley Fool/Debt Free Guys LGBTQ+ Money Study – and hopefully the community overall – reported having decent credit scores. 61% report having good, very good and excellent credit scores, 24%, 22% and 15% respectively.
3 ways to improve your credit score:
- Pay all bills on time
- Don’t us more than 40% of the credit you have available
- Keep your oldest credit card accounts open if it doesn’t have annual fees
Unless you have a major purchase soon that’ll require a major loan, stop stressing about your credit score. Build and have a good credit score, but stop making it your #1 financial concern.
